Erkan Mumcu (born 22 January 1954) is a Turkish politician and businessman. He served as the Minister of Culture and Tourism between 1998 and 1999 and as the Minister of Industry and Trade between 2002 and 2007. Mumcu was also a member of the Turkish Parliament for the Justice and Development Party (AKP) between 2002 and 2011. He is the founder and owner of Mumcu Group, a major conglomerate in Turkey that operates in various sectors including automotive, energy, and real estate. Mumcu is known for his pro-business and free-market economic policies.
